On november 16, 1989, six jesuit priests and their two helpers were cruelly murdered in the Universidad Centroamericana “José Simeón Cañas” in El Salvador. The crime was committed by members of the salvadoran army, two of which were convicted. However, the salvadoran criminal process was criticized because the responsability of the organizers was not defined. Currently, in application of the universal justice, there is a criminal process in Spain (Audiencia Nacional) against the members of the High Command, for the participation in the murder, which are constitutive of eight crimes of terrorist murders.
