Prevention and control of financing methods terrorism as a political-criminal strategy

Abstract

The fight against terrorism has become a priority objective of the States, as a result of the current and growing threats of the perpetration of terrorist acts. In this context, the prevention and control of the financing of terrorism is at the forefront of the criminal political strategy to be followed to overcome this phenomenon. In this paper we address a systematic study of the different legal and illegal models of financing terrorism today, as a necessary starting point to face the concrete legislative and political-criminal strategy to follow.
